G-HIVE Disability and Inclusion Training

1st Floor, Woolwich Equitable House, 7 General Gordon Square, London, SE18 6FH

This training will support individuals and organisations to develop awareness of disabled communities. It will provide insight into the challenges these communities can face, as well as equip them with the knowledge, resources, and tools to ensure increased inclusivity for disabled individuals.

As a result of this training, participants will improve their consideration of disability terminology, and develop awareness of disabled peoples lived experiences, including discrimination, oppression and the impact of these. They will also identify ways to ensure the inclusion of and safety for disabled individuals at both a personal and organisational level, and approach diversity and develop inclusivity in an intersectional and respectful way.

As capacity is limited for this training, if you have booked but are subsequently unable to attend, please email Andrew Kerr (Andrew.Kerr@metrocharity.org.uk) three days in advance so that your place can be offered to someone else. METRO GAVS reserves the right to reallocate your place on future trainings if you fail to attend without prior cancellation.
